BEA mentors spread awareness and encourage others to discover a new world of sound. A mentor is an AB recipient or the parent of one who would like to share their CI story with someone affected by hearing loss. Mentors make a personal connection and lend support so that others just starting this journey feel comfortable asking questions and learning from someone who has walked in their shoes.
As a mentor, you will join an active and enthusiastic community of AB recipients trying to help others Hear and Be Heard.
As a mentor, you can:
- Help spread awareness about bionic ear technology
- Connect people with hearing loss to BEA services and AB technologyHearingJourney.com
- Share your personal experiences with AB cochlear implants and services
- Be part of the largest online community of cochlear implant recipients and candidates
- Be an active participant in AB and BEA events in your area
